Our reputable client is seeking a Senior Credit Controller / Credit Control Supervisor to join a dynamic team at a market-leading organisation. The role is office-based, offering a challenging and rewarding environment with opportunities for personal growth and career progression.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Direct management of a cohort of Credit Controllers.
  • Serve as a point of escalation for client and team queries.
  • Provide training and advice as required.
  • Meet targets for monthly receivables and keep bad debt to a minimum.
  • Resolve invoice issues promptly, liaising with clients, sales, and other departments as needed.
  • Authorise credit notes and take control of designated customer accounts as directed by the Credit Control Manager.
  • Ensure timely collection of invoices and, where applicable, debt in line with credit terms.
  • Report promptly any potential problem accounts or bad debt to the Credit Control Manager.
  • Hold regular debt review meetings with key clients.
  • Maintain accurate records of communication with customers and status of debt.
  • Allocate credit notes or unallocated payments on the ledger as required.
  • Perform any other ad hoc tasks as required by the business.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Credible experience in Credit Control.
  • Proactive and enthusiastic approach with good team working and communication skills.
  • Good organisational skills and self-motivated.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Able to work to deadlines and flexible where required by the business.
  • Strong analytic and numeric skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications such as Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Experience of Sage Intacct is desirable but not essential.
