We are seeking a diligent and efficient Temp Accounts Assistant for our Accounting & Finance department in the Energy & Natural Resources industry in Central Hull

Description
- Balance Sheet Preparation: Assist with the preparation and maintenance of balance sheets, ensuring that all transactions are accurately recorded and classified.
- Reconciliation: Perform bank and general ledger reconciliations to ensure financial records are accurate and up-to-date. Investigate discrepancies and resolve them in a timely manner.
- Month-End Close: Support the month-end closing process, ensuring all entries are recorded accurately and deadlines are met. Prepare relevant reports to assist with financial analysis.
- Accounts Payable/Receivable: Assist with processing invoices, payments, and receipts, ensuring that all transactions are completed and recorded promptly.
- Supporting Financial Reporting: Prepare and assist in the preparation of financial reports for management, highlighting any discrepancies or concerns.
- Filing and Documentation: Maintain accurate records and filing systems for easy access to financial documents and reports.
- Ad-Hoc Duties: Provide general accounting support and undertake ad-hoc tasks as required to assist the finance team.
Profile
A successful Temp Accounts Assistant should have:
- SAP experience
- Experience working in a temporary or contract-based role.
- AAT qualification or similar accounting certification is a plus but not required.
