Senior Professional Support

Our client is seeking a Senior Professional Support to join their Enforcement and Market Oversight division. This role combines PA duties with operational support, providing an exciting opportunity for those who thrive in a dynamic environment. The successful candidate will have the chance to work closely with senior leaders, supporting the operational running of an investigation case team. This role offers exposure to high-priority cases, making a tangible impact on the industry and consumers.

What you'll do:

As a Senior Professional Support, your role will be split between PA duties and operational support. You'll manage the Head of Department's diary, prepare for meetings, coordinate responses to various offices, organise travel and accommodation, act as Secretariat for leadership meetings, and oversee recruitment initiatives. Additionally, you'll provide operational support by overseeing other Professional Business Supports in the department. Your role will be crucial in ensuring smooth operations within the Enforcement and Market Oversight division.

  • Manage the Head of Department's diary, workflows, and prioritise actions
  • Prepare for meetings by creating briefing notes and producing OneNote packs
  • Monitor the Head of Department's inbox and respond to emails
  • Coordinate responses/information requests to ED Office/CEO Office
  • Organise travel and accommodation for the Head of Department
  • Act as Secretariat for departmental leadership meetings
  • Coordinate recruitment initiatives across the department and support with onboarding new joiners
  • Oversee the work of other Professional Business Supports in the department

As a Senior Professional Support, you bring valuable skills to our team. You are proficient in Microsoft packages like Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Your experience working alongside managers or Heads of Departments in fast-paced environments has equipped you with strong organisational skills. You understand how to handle sensitive information while maintaining confidentiality. Your excellent written and oral communication skills allow you to interact professionally with people at all levels. You're able to plan ahead, prioritise tasks, act on your own initiative, and manage your workload efficiently.
