Account Director (Social)

We are seeking an experienced Account Director to join our Client Services team in London on a 6-month fixed-term contract (FTC), with the possibility of extension or becoming a permanent position.

The Client Services team is integral to our business, driving client satisfaction through innovative solutions that meet their needs. Using a blend of strategic and creative thinking, organizational expertise, and project management skills, we support a diverse portfolio of global brands. This role offers the opportunity to manage major global accounts and collaborate with some of the world's most well-known companies.

Key Responsibilities:- Manage and grow several key client accounts, developing both existing and new relationships.- Lead the creation of innovative strategies and campaigns for client projects.- Build and maintain strong client relationships by understanding their brand and consumer needs.- Maximize revenue by identifying opportunities for additional client services.- Present and pitch ideas to clients, attending meetings and events as required.- Stay up-to-date on market trends and competitor activity to provide clients with informed strategic advice.- Lead and mentor a team, ensuring high-quality project delivery.- Draft project briefs and collaborate with internal teams to develop and execute campaign ideas.- Create detailed project plans, including cost estimates and timelines, ensuring client approval before work proceeds.- Ensure campaigns stay within budget and meet the agreed deadlines.- Oversee billing, invoicing, and client payments in collaboration with the finance team.- Ensure high-quality delivery of all projects and campaigns you manage.

Requirements:- Strong expertise in social media, digital, and social-first strategies, understanding their impact on major brands.- Proven experience in account management within a digital or social media agency.- Track record of managing blue-chip clients and an international portfolio.- Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to manage a team effectively to deliver high-quality results.- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to analyze and resolve issues quickly.- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.- Willingness to travel internationally, if required.- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).- A marketing or media-related degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
