The Opportunity

Yolk Recruitment Public Sector & Not-for-Profit team is working closely with a Not-For-Profit organisation that works to better conditions for healthcare workers.

We are supporting them with their recruitment an Associate Director of Insight and Analytics who will provide strategic leadership and direction on insights and data analysis. This is a role with a large opportunity to leave your mark, as the data department have recently been largely expanded and the new post-holder will be responsible for building the appropriate foundations and structure for a team of that size.

They are looking for someone with senior leadership experience in a data function, who can create and develop data strategy.

What the Associate Director of Insights & Analytics will be doing
You will be matrix managing teams of data professionals to implement your data strategy. You will be assessing the current state of the data function and building appropriate structures and strategies to make best use of the resource.

  • Building a long-term roadmap for the data department based on current capacity
  • Line and matrix managing data professionals
  • Build a robust and comprehensive data strategy for the organisation
  • Provide leadership on the growth of insight and analytics
  • Drive the use of data analytics in a systematic and outcome based approach

What the successful Associate Director of Insights & Analytics will bring to the team
You will prior experience in a senior leadership role within a data function, with experience of both line and matrix management. You will be able to demonstrate the ability to drive, implement and manage change within an organisation.

  • Senior Leadership in Data, whilst providing both line and matrix management
  • Experience building comprehensive data strategies and organisational roadmaps
  • Exceptional knowledge of best practice in change management or experience delivering organisational change
  • Ability to engage and develop strategic relationships with a wide range of stakeholders
  • Experience of using complex data insights to inform strategy
