The role will be Reporting to the Head of Corporate Accounting and based at the firm's Head Office in central London, the successful applicant will be an integral part of the Finance Team.

They are looking for someone who holds management experience so that they are able to hit the ground running within the managerial role.

Description

As Finance Administration Manager, you rkey duties will involve but will not be limited to:

  • Supervise, mentor, and support a team of three Finance Administrators, providing training and direction to cultivate high standards in accounting practices. This includes setting clear goals, tracking performance, and conducting regular reviews.
  • Manage and review financial processes, covering areas such as accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Ensure timely and precise recording, reconciliation, and reporting of financial data.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance the reliability and accuracy of financial records.
  • Identify and execute process improvement initiatives to optimise workflows and boost efficiency within the finance function.
  • Maintain and adapt internal controls and procedures to align with the company's growth, addressing any areas requiring refinement.
  • Facilitate audit processes by ensuring queries are resolved promptly and effectively.
  • Provide ad hoc financial analysis and project support to other team members and the wider business.
  • Foster strong working relationships with colleagues across all levels of the organisation.
  • Collaborate with banking partners, accounting software providers (e.g., SAP Concur, Net Suite), and other external service providers to maximise efficiency and value.

Profile

  • 5-10 years of professional experience in finance or accounting, preferably within private equity or the broader fund management sector.
  • Demonstrated success in leading and managing teams.
  • Proficiency in financial tools and software, such as Excel and financial management platforms.
  • Excellent analytical abilities coupled with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
  • Adaptability and performance under pressure in a fast-moving environment.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with a focus on delivering accurate work.
  • Commitment to driving improvements, streamlining processes, and enhancing financial control frameworks.
