Overview:A leading financial planning company in London is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Finance Director to lead and shape the financial direction of the organization. This role is pivotal in supporting the company’s growth ambitions, ensuring financial stability, and driving operational efficiency.

The ideal candidate will be a visionary leader with a proven track record in the financial services sector, capable of managing complex financial operations while delivering strategic insights to senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Financial Leadership:
   • Develop and implement the company’s financial strategy in alignment with its growth objectives.
   • Provide strategic recommendations to the board and CEO based on financial analysis and projections.
2. Financial Planning & Analysis:
   • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes.
   • Analyze market trends and financial data to identify opportunities for growth and cost optimization.
3. Regulatory Compliance & Governance:
   • Ensure compliance with financial regulations, reporting standards, and corporate governance.
   • Liaise with auditors, regulators, and other external stakeholders.
4. Operational Oversight:
   • Lead the finance team, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and collaboration.
   • Manage cash flow, treasury functions, and investment strategies to maximize returns.
5. Mergers & Acquisitions:
   • Evaluate potential acquisition opportunities and oversee due diligence processes.
   • Manage post-acquisition integration to optimize financial outcomes.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
• Significant experience as a Finance Director, ideally within the financial services or planning sector.
• Deep understanding of regulatory frameworks affecting financial planning firms.
• Strong leadership skills with a track record of managing high-performing teams.
• Exceptional analytical, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.
