Job Title: Temporary Finance Manager/Senior Management AccountantJob Type: Temporary (4 months)Location: North London/Kings CrossA media/film production company seeking a Temporary Finance Manager/Senior Management Accountant to join their team in Kentish Town, London for a period of 4 months.The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day financial operations of the company, providing financial analysis and strategic support to senior management, and ensuring the company's financial records are accurate and up to date.Responsibilities:
- Manage the company's financial operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger
- Prepare monthly management accounts and financial statements
- Provide financial analysis and strategic support to senior management
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting requirements
- Manage cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting
- Coordinate with external auditors to ensure timely completion of annual audit
- Liaise with departmental heads to provide financial information and guidance
- Identify and implement process improvements to streamline financial operations
Requirements:
- Part qualified or QBE with at least 5 years' experience in finance management or senior management accounting role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and reporting requirements
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Sage
- Experience in the media/film production industry preferred
