Are you an experienced Finance Manager looking for a dynamic and rewarding role? Our client, a leading firm in their industry, is seeking a highly skilled professional to lead their Finance Department and oversee a small team of Finance Assistants.

Experience: Minimum of 5 years of relevant and stable UK-based finance experience.

Qualifications: Fully or part-qualified CIMA/ACCA/ACA.

Skills: Some leadership experince managing some indivduals, analytical, and financial management abilities.

Systems Knowledge: Proficiency in Xero or a similar package and Microsoft Office .

Oversee the finance team of 2, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in financial operations.

Manage financial reporting, including preparation of monthly reports and quarterly management accounts.

Assist in setting the annual budget and monitor financial performance.

Liaise with auditors and ensure compliance with HMRC regulations, including VAT returns.

Conduct credit control and manage cash flow, banking, and capital expenditure.

Provide financial insights to Directors and the Head of Finance & Operations.

Oversee work-in-progress reports to assess project financial performance.

Ensure timely rent collections and lease/license management for tenants.

Support ad-hoc financial projects and continuous process improvements.

Excellent communication and confidence in financial decision-making.

Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple priorities effectively within a team culture

Commercial awareness and knowledge of UK company and taxation laws.
