Your new companyAn exciting opportunity to join a market-leading media business based in London. You will be joining at a juncture of change, with M&A, system improvements, recruitment plans and new business wins on the horizon. This would suit someone used to a matrix structure but more than happy to roll up their sleeves and get involved in day-to-day accounting and operations.Your new roleReporting to the divisional CFO, you will be:

  • Leading and mentoring a team of accountants across the UK, EMEA and further afield. Overseeing FP&A, accounting / control, revenue and transactional finance.
  • You will be the right hand to the CFO, supporting across business planning, strategy and financial forecasting.
  • Oversee the audit, technical accounting and statutory reporting of the group
  • Manage the consolidated accounting for the group and provide insight and commentary to the executives
  • Lead through the transition of a change in ownership structure / potential exit
  • Recruit and develop a best-in-class finance team
  • Ad hoc duties

What you'll need to succeedAs a qualified accountant with several years' experience operating as an FD / CFO, you will be happy overseeing the three pillars of accounting and, ideally, have exposure to a US business, reporting under US GAAP. You will be proficient on a range of systems, but most importantly SAP and SAP BFC. As a people manager you will have a track record of recruiting, inspiring and progressing junior staff as well as highly qualified accountants.What you'll get in returnYou will be paid between £150,000 and £200,000 for this role depending on your experience.
