Fantastic opportunity for a Transaction Manager at a global law firm based near Liverpool Street Station. If you are a Transaction Specialist or Finance Analyst looking to progress your career this could be the role for you. As a Transaction Manager, you will be involved in a variety of tasks supporting transactions across the Capital Markets team. The work can be demanding but is always rewarding and we offer excellent opportunities for learning and development. This position is a growth opportunity designed to expand our team's expertise, complementing the existing role currently held by one team member.

Key Responsibilities

  • Working across the Capital Markets team to supporting cross-border transactions in a client-facing role.
  • Dealing with complex matter management and supporting multiple streams, including coordinating listing processes, and managing CPs/closings.
  • Transaction coordination, including managing working group lists, meetings, and other process-related aspects, as well as preparing for transaction milestones.
  • Drafting disclosure documents including incorporating comments, researching market data, drafting the financing structure, and reviewing the group structure.
  • Managing the signing and closing processes, including post-closing bible preparation and precedent capture.
  • Keeping up to date with listing requirements. Coordinating listing and regulatory workstreams including drafting forms, submitting to the exchange, handling KYC processes, and responding to listing queries.
  • Reviewing investor presentations and CFO certificates/CFO circle-ups.
  • Providing post-deal continuing follow-up, including deal description notes and scheduling team-client periodic outreach reminders.
  • Conducting research on legal developments and assisting in the maintenance of practice notes and standard forms.
  • Using our Practice Technology on transactions, including where appropriate being the interface between the deal lawyers and technology applications.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Substantial matter management or transactional coordination and client facing experience in professional services, markets infrastructure, corporates, fund or similar.
  • Strong academic record and intellectual curiosity, creative thinker.
  • Commercial and business awareness.
  • Outstanding communication skills.
  • Strong time management skills, ability to stay calm under pressure when juggling multiple projects.
  • Strong professional presence with a client service focus.
  • Team player, proactive, resourceful, takes initiative.
