Job Title: HR Assistant

Location: London / Hybrid working

Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 (DoE)

What would I be doing day to day?

Key duties:

  • Provide HR and pastoral support for Trainees across the employee life cycle from application to qualification
  • Oversee and support the seat rotations and reviews for Trainees and Apprentices; liaising with the wider HR team and necessary department managers on feedback and considering all factors
  • Support and pro-actively pre-empt any performance management and employee relations matters, and manage with discretion and sensitivity
  • Identify training needs and work with the wider L&D team to facilitate trainings for Trainees and Managers
  • Assist with other ad hoc tasks and projects in line with HR objectives

What is the company looking for?

  • Minimum 2+ years' HR experience in a Law firm or partnership led organisation is essential
  • Experience supporting trainees and early career cohorts throughout the employee lifecycle is a big advantage - or a demonstrable interest in doing so!
  • Strong attention to detail, organisation, and an ability to act with discretion.
  • Confident user of technology and systems including Microsoft and HRIS systems.
