What You’ll Be Doing:Join our team as a Haematology/Transfusion Biomedical Scientist and help provide excellent diagnostic services. Your responsibilities will include:
- Performing a variety of haematology and transfusion laboratory tests
- Assisting in the preparation and analysis of blood samples for diagnostic purposes
- Conducting blood group testing, crossmatching, and other transfusion-related tests
- Maintaining high standards of laboratory procedures and ensuring compliance with all regulations
- Supporting the development and implementation of quality control measures
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the best patient care
Requirements & Qualifications:To succeed in this role, you should have:
- HCPC Registration as a Biomedical Scientist
- IBMS Accredited Degree
- At least 1 - 2 years of experience in a Haematology and Transfusion laboratory
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A commitment to delivering high-quality, efficient laboratory services
- Full right to work in the UK (we are unable to provide sponsorship)
Working Hours & Contract Duration:This role requires availability from Monday to Sunday, 37.5 hours per week, across a 24/7 rota. The contract is for 6 months, with the potential for renewal depending on performance and service needs.
