Head of Centre (SEN) at Mainstream Secondary School

We are seeking a Head of Centre to join our team. You will be responsible for the learning and achievement of all pupils, ensuring the highest standards in both academic performance and conduct. You will work closely with the Assistant Headteacher to shape the strategic vision of the Centre, driving continuous improvement and innovation.

As Head of Centre, you will lead the development and implementation of a robust curriculum across all key stages, ensuring it meets the diverse needs of our students. Your responsibilities will include monitoring student progress, conducting formal observations, and providing targeted interventions to support all learners, with a focus onSpecial Educational Needs.

You will also foster a collaborative environment by sharing resources and promoting joint planning amongst staff, while actively engaging in their professional development through training and performance management. Your role will extend beyond academics; you will create a safe and stimulating environment that promotes positive behaviour and effective relationships with pupils, parents, and the wider community. By establishing high expectations and acting as a positive role model, you will inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential. We value collaboration, innovation, and inclusivity.
