SEN Teaching Assistant - Autism Support - Primary SEN Unit in Kennington - ASAP Start

A primary SEN unit in Kennington, close to Brixton, is looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support children with Autism in their specialist ASD base. This is a fantastic opportunity for an SEN Teaching Assistant who is passionate about SEN support and wants to gain valuable hands-on experience in a structured and supportive environment. Graduate Teaching Assistants with a background in Psychology or related fields are highly encouraged to apply.



SEN Teaching Assistant - Role Overview:

  • Work 1:1 and in small groups with children diagnosed with Autism.

  • Support pupils in their academic, social, and emotional development.

  • Implement structured routines and sensory strategies to aid learning.

  • Assist the class teacher in delivering tailored learning plans.

SEN Teaching Assistant - Ideal Candidate:
