City & Capital are currently working with a highly ambitious and fast growing financial services company who have retained our services in order to appoint an ambitious and career minded Head of HR to their growing team at an exciting time.

Our client is experiencing excellent growth, backed by secure funding lines and recent investment. Due to this they are expecting the size of their loan portfolio to grow substantially over the coming period, with the business expecting to double in size based on their lending projections.

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and strategic Head of Human Resources to lead the HR function. This key leadership role is responsible for developing and executing HR strategies that align with the company's business goals, ensuring a high performing, engaged workforce, and fostering a positive organisational culture.

The ideal candidate will possess significant experience in HR leadership, with a focus on talent acquisition, employee development, performance management, and organisational effectiveness within the finance industry.

The ideal individual for this role will be a highly strategic and forward-thinking HR leader with the expertise to align human resources initiatives with organisational goals. They will have a proven track record of leading HR teams, developing and implementing talent acquisition and retention strategies, and fostering an inclusive and engaging company culture. The ideal candidate will excel in designing performance management systems, ensuring compliance with employment laws, and managing competitive compensation and benefits programs. They will be experienced in creating robust training and development programs, leveraging HR technology and analytics to optimise processes, and serving as a trusted advisor to senior leadership.

The ideal individual will:

  • Have a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or relevent
  • Level 5 or 7 CIPD
  • At least 5 years experience of managing a team
  • Have an excellent attention to detail and be highly organised
  • Be a confident communicator in all cases
  • Be highly proactive, quick to spot opportunities or problems to address
  • Be a genuine team player and enjoy collaboration
  • Be ambitious and keen to grow within
  • Be a natural leader, quick to bring others on the journey or strategy
  • Be happy to communicate with senior leaders on all matters

The basic salary for this role is between c£100-150k relevant to experience. Higher offers may be considered for exceptional talent and experience. Salary will be complemented by an annual discretionary bonus.
