Position Overview:
As the HR Assistant, you'll be responsible for managing various HR functions, with a particular emphasis oninternal recruitmentand ensuring fullcompliancewith company policies and external regulations. Your proactive approach will facilitate effective communication across departments, supporting managers and employees alike.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist with day-to-day HR operations, includingrecruitingand onboarding new talent.
  • Provide clerical and administrative support to managers.
  • Respond to queries from managers and employees, ensuring adherence to internal compliance procedures.
  • Stay updated onUK employment lawand ensure all HR activities meet legal standards.
  • Administer new hire training, qualification checks, and compliance documentation.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records.
  • Prepare paperwork for new employee profiles and payroll.
  • Assist in payroll preparation and monitoring.
  • Oversee the employee performance appraisal process.
  • Identify and organise relevant training courses.
  • Manage the entire instructor journey, from onboarding to exit, ensuring compliance at every stage.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and Simply Personnel.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to facilitate cross-department communication.
  • Excellent time management and prioritisation skills.
  • Process-driven with a solid understanding ofrecruitment processesandHR compliance.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Recognised qualification in HR or extensive HR experience.
