HR Project Advisor

One Year FTC

Hybrid working - 3 days on site

Base: North London with ad-hoc travel to the Midlands

Looking for a new opportunity and have experience across the employee lifecycle, with a passion for compliance and an eye for detail?

Our client is looking to appoint an HR Advisor level candidate who will lead a compliance project across 2024/2025 in ensuring their contractor and casual workforce are meeting all compliance regulations, specifically Contracts, Right to Work and DBS checks. You will own and drive the project forward, providing high quality support to the HR Services Manager & HR Business Partners as well as support the HR Project Manager on wider HR projects, across key administrative processes that service the organisation.

The role includes a full review of current workforce, understanding the population, budgets and requirements going forward and introduce processes to regularly review and maintain accurate records. You will identify any areas of non-compliance, and implement robust processes to manage, mitigate and future proof any identified risks. You will create governance for management of HR processes as required alongside working with the HR Project Manager and other members of the HR team to review the onboarding processes for casual workers and improve these, identifying new ways of working and implementing system support where applicable

Key Background

• HR experience at advisor level (minimum)

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Good working knowledge of Right to Work processes & DBS requirements and ability to advise/train others on legislation where required

• Project skills and able to evidence success on previous projects

• Ability to work across multiple HR projects and manage own workload

• Ability to handle conflicting priorities and complex matters

• Manage relationships with stakeholders and act as key contact

• Experience of data management and reporting

• Proven HR systems knowledge

• Proficient skills in MS Office including Excel
