We are currently seeking an experienced HR Officer to join our client's team in the education industry. As the HR Officer, you will play a key role in leading the HR team and delivering an effective HR service to our client's staff members.

DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT EXCLUSIVE TO:

  • Manage the HR Department, ensuring compliance with employment law and best practises
  • Provide guidance and support to Line Managers on employee relations issues
  • Maintain accurate records of staff information and ensure compliance with relevant requirements
  • Oversee the recruitment process and assist with the induction and training of new staff
  • Monitor and review staff absence levels across the organisation
  • Ensure staff compliance with safeguarding requirements
  • Support the appraisal process and contribute to staff motivation and engagement initiatives
  • Liaise with external HR consultants and management coaches
  • Be part of the central leadership team, promoting the organisation's values and participating in management meetings

SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED:

  • Chartered CIPD qualified (level 7)
  • Team Management experience
  • Experience in generalist HR practise, recruitment, and employee relations
  • Strong understanding of employment law and HR best practises
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and leadership skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software
