Digital Transformation Specialist. My client based in London (nearest train station Clapham Junction) are looking for a Digital Transformation Specialist for an 6 months contract.

This role is outside IR35 and please note this role is 100% office based and offers no WFH. You must have previous experience of supporting a paperless environment through innovative digital solutions. This role is focused on driving digitisation and automation.

The ideal candidate will be passionate and experienced with improving workflow efficiencies and supporting a paperless environment through innovative digital solutions. You will lead and manage digital transformation projects, from initial assessment to implementation and evaluation, where necessary provide training sessions, workshops, and resources to department staff on the use of the new digital tools, process, and systems.

Ideal candidate to possess:

  • Proven experience in IT consulting, process automation or digital transformation
  • Strong knowledge of digital tools, cloud -based systems and management systems (e.g. iSAMS)
  • Experience with automation tools and platforms
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively across departments.
  • Familiarity with data protection regulations and best practices for secure digital solutions.
  • Basic scripting/coding experience for automation tasks is desirable

Key Responsibilities:

Digitisation and Automation:

  • Analyse existing administrative and academic workflows to identify opportunities for digitisation and automation
  • Implement and refine automation tools to streamline processes in Admissions, Finance, HR, Marketing and Academic Administration
  • Manage the transition paper-based processes to digital solutions
  • Ensure greater integration of digital platforms, such the management information systems, and Finance and HR systems; as well as provide guidance on optimising the use existing digital tools and platforms to improve efficiency
  • Develop and implement staff training programs to ensure effective adoption of new systems and/or automated processes.

Project Management:

  • Work closely with departments, leadership and suppliers to implement digital transformation projects
  • Develop a clear digital transformation roadmap which improves efficiencies and aligns with the operational goals
  • Monitor, measure and report on the impact on digitisation initiatives, as well as making recommendations in order to sustain improvements
