Required Experience:
Previous experience working with a design consultancy
Proficiency with Plaxis for tunnel design and analysis is highly desirable.
Experience with segmental lining design for tunnels.
A Civil Engineering degree or equivalent qualifications.
In-depth experience in tunnel design, including both structural design and soil/rock mechanics.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and design tunnel structures, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver tunnel engineering solutions for complex projects.
Provide technical support for tunnel construction methods, particularly in segmental lining and ground conditions analysis.
Conduct geotechnical analysis and design, considering soil/rock mechanics and tunnel performance.
Review and contribute to design reports, calculations, and technical documents.
Assist in the preparation of tender documents and project proposals.
Ensure that designs meet health, safety, environmental, and quality standards.
