About the role..

As People Business Partner you will partner with senior leaders across the editorial and operations teams based in the UK and Europe a headcount of c250 employees. You will help shape, develop and deliver strategic People and Culture plans and support your senior leaders to build high performing teams, allying performance to achieve the businesses objectives.

Key responsibilities of the role:

  • You will have experience translating business requirements into strategic people and culture initiatives and delivering commercial people solutions that support the business objectives across areas such as workforce planning, employee development and performance management.
  • Data and metrics proficiency and ability to acquire the relevant data and use this to steer commercial decision making.
  • Change management and organisational design work across a diverse client group and aligning with wider global business changes. This could include team restructures, acquisitions and global change programmes.
  • Complex employee relations experience and a excellent understanding of UK employment law.

About you..

You will be an experienced and strategic People Business Partner that has worked with multiple stakeholders within a global commercial business. This role will be pivotal to the People Business partnering team really embedding a strategic People and Culture support to your client group and building a forward and pro-active people strategy for them.

Key experience required:

  • Change management experience - restructures, growth and culture integration to acquisitions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to use data effectively and demonstrate how you have used data to support your role, team and client group.
  • Employee development initiatives from upskilling managers on HR best practice to employee relations, performance management and wider capability mapping.
  • Workforce planning - you will be able to demonstrate where you have supported forward thinking workforce planning design and partnered with your HR colleagues on delivery.

This role is well suited to an experienced HR Business partner that has been operating strategically with their client group and business, stepping outside of the generalist HR space.

Salary: £65,000 - £68,500 + 10% bonus and excellent benefits

Location: City of London, hybrid working 2 days a week in office.
