Payroll Officer Post 12-18 month FTC Central LondonHybrid workingOur client is seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to join their busy teamDuties include;

  • Prepare and process payroll for all employees.
  • Calculate and process overtime, bonuses, and deductions.
  • Ensure timely and accurate payment of salaries and wages.
    • Ensure compliance with tax laws and labour regulations.
    • Prepare and submit payroll reports to management and government agencies.
    • Maintain accurate payroll records and documentation.
    • Address payroll-related queries and issues from employees.
    • Provide information on payroll policies and procedures.
    • Assist with the onboarding process by setting up new employees in the payroll system.
    • Maintain and update payroll systems and software.
    • Ensure data integrity and accuracy in the payroll system.
    • Implement and test system upgrades and changes.
    • Work closely with HR and finance departments to ensure seamless payroll operations.
    • Coordinate with external auditors and provide necessary documentation during audits.
    • Assist in the development and implementation of payroll policies and procedures.

You will have;

  • Strong numerical and analytical skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of payroll laws and regulations.
  • Strong UK payroll processing experience within a high volume payroll department
