Payroll Officer Post 12-18 month FTC Central LondonHybrid workingOur client is seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to join their busy teamDuties include;
- Prepare and process payroll for all employees.
- Calculate and process overtime, bonuses, and deductions.
- Ensure timely and accurate payment of salaries and wages.
- Ensure compliance with tax laws and labour regulations.
- Prepare and submit payroll reports to management and government agencies.
- Maintain accurate payroll records and documentation.
- Address payroll-related queries and issues from employees.
- Provide information on payroll policies and procedures.
- Assist with the onboarding process by setting up new employees in the payroll system.
- Maintain and update payroll systems and software.
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy in the payroll system.
- Implement and test system upgrades and changes.
- Work closely with HR and finance departments to ensure seamless payroll operations.
- Coordinate with external auditors and provide necessary documentation during audits.
- Assist in the development and implementation of payroll policies and procedures.
You will have;
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of payroll laws and regulations.
- Strong UK payroll processing experience within a high volume payroll department
