Senior Building Services Manager – Build

We are searching for a Senior Building Services Manager for one of the South East’s busiest Main Contractors. This company has built a fantastic name in the industry for delivering fast-paced schemes using an array of MMC methods. Typical project value will range from £80m - £100m and will be a mix of BTR and PBSA.

As Senior Building Service Manager you will be responsible for:

  • Oversee design, installation, and maintenance of building services (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, etc.).
  • Manage project planning, budgeting, and scheduling for building services projects.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to integrate services into building designs.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Lead and supervise teams of engineers, subcontractors, and technicians.
  • Monitor and maintain building systems' performance and efficiency.
  • Conduct risk assessments and implement preventive maintenance strategies.
  • Manage procurement of materials and equipment for building services.
  • Prepare reports and present progress updates to stakeholders.
  • Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.

Required:

  • 5 + years of experience in building services, including design, installation, and maintenance.
  • Proven experience in managing large-scale construction projects, including budgeting and scheduling.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience leading teams of engineers and contractors.
  • In-depth knowledge of health, safety, and building regulations.
  • Experience in contractor/supplier management and optimizing building systems for efficiency
