We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Nursery Deputy Manager / Administrator with a Level 3 childcare qualification to join our dedicated team. This dual-role position involves supporting the day-to-day management of the nursery and handling key administrative tasks to ensure smooth operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Nursery Manager in overseeing daily nursery activities and ensuring compliance with EYFS standards.
  • Lead and support a team of childcare practitioners, ensuring a high standard of care and education.
  • Act as a point of contact for parents, providing professional communication and resolving concerns effectively.
  • Manage administrative duties, including staff schedules, attendance records, and reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety policies, safeguarding procedures, and Ofsted regulations.
  • Support in planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate learning activities.
  • Step into the Manager’s role as required in their absence.

Requirements:

  • Level 3 childcare qualification (essential).
  • Proven experience in a nursery setting, with leadership responsibilities preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of EYFS and Ofsted requirements.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in administrative software and record-keeping.
