Main Responsibilities: We have a fantastic opportunity to join a Local Authority in the North as an Locum Democratic Services Officer. This role is on a full-time basis, but part time candidates will be considered. The initial duration of the contract will be 3 months, with the likelihood of extension.

Main Responsibilities:

-            Preparation and distribution of meetings agendas

-            Supporting the Council’s democratic decision-making processes, including servicing Committees and supporting elected members

-            Attending and supporting regular meetings as required

Hourly Rate: £25-30ph Umbrella

Recent Democratic Services experience is essential, as they need candidates that can hit the ground running. Candidates with recent Local Government experience is desired but not essential.
