Job Description:

GSL Education is seeking a dedicated and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a supportive school community in Moss Side, M14. This role is ideal for a qualified HLTA who is passionate about making a positive impact on students' learning and development.

Key Responsibilities:

Support the planning and delivery of lessons under the direction of the class teacher
Lead small group sessions and interventions to support student learning and progress.
Cover classes and deliver lessons in the absence of the class teacher
Assist in the assessment and tracking of student progress, providing feedback to teachers
Support students with special educational needs, adapting teaching methods as required

Requirements:

Must have a HLTA qualification
Proven experience as a teaching assistant, with a strong understanding of the primary curriculum
Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for a new one
