Are you an experienced Credit Control professional looking for a new challenge? Our client, a leading organisation in their field, is seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join their team as a Credit Controller. With a commitment to providing exceptional support in the finance department, this is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic and forward-thinking environment.

As a Credit Controller, you will play a vital role in supporting the Finance Partner in managing credit control activities. You will be responsible for ensuring accurate administration and consistent implementation of credit control policies while proactively managing cash collection on a daily basis. If you have a proven track record in credit control and are looking for a role where you can make a real impact, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

Key responsibilities:

Take the lead in credit control across the organisation, ensuring maximum cash collection and adherence to credit control policies
Proactively issue statements, follow up with reminders and phone calls, and handle card payments
Resolve queries and disputes related to invoices, payments, and credit terms
Negotiate payment plans with clients and initiate legal actions if necessary
Maintain good relationships with clients and internal stakeholders
Collaborate with the firm's Billing Team and Accounts Department.

Skills and qualifications:

Previous experience in a Credit Control position
A confident and professional manner
Proficiency in accounting software, spreadsheets, and databases
Excellent numerical and analytical skills
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Knowledge of credit laws and regulations
Customer service and problem-solving skills.
