Credit Controller

You will be responsible for ensuring accurate administration and consistent implementation of credit control policies while proactively managing cash collection on a daily basis. If you have a proven track record in credit control and are looking for a role where you can make a real impact, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.Key responsibilities:Take the lead in credit control across the organisation, ensuring maximum cash collection and adherence to credit control policiesProactively issue statements, follow up with reminders and phone calls, and handle card paymentsResolve queries and disputes related to invoices, payments, and credit termsNegotiate payment plans with clients and initiate legal actions if necessaryMaintain good relationships with clients and internal stakeholdersCollaborate with the firm's Billing Team and Accounts Department.Skills and qualifications:Previous experience in a Credit Control positionA confident and professional mannerProficiency in accounting software, spreadsheets, and databasesExcellent numerical and analytical skillsStrong communication and negotiation skillsAttention to detail and accuracyAbility to work under pressure and meet deadlinesKnowledge of credit laws and regulationsCustomer service and problem-solving skills.In return, our client offers a competitive salary and a range of benefits, including 20 days of annual leave plus bank holidays (increasing after 5 and 10 years of service) with an extra day off for your birthday, additional leave between Christmas and New Year, an enhanced maternity package, and entitlement to join the company pension scheme and cash healthcare scheme.
