Standalone Payroll Specialist - Permanent, Full-Time

Newton-Le-Willows | Up to £35k | Fully Office-Based Adaptable Recruitment is working exclusively with a well-established business in Knowsley to recruit a Standalone Payroll Advisor. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced payroll professional to take ownership of their end-to-end payroll processes.

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Process multiple payrolls on a 4-weekly and monthly basis
  • Verify and reconcile payroll data, ensuring accuracy and compliance
  • Liaise with team leaders to confirm working hours and attendance records
  • Submit pension contributions and maintain compliance with pension regulations
  • Prepare payroll-related reports and assist with financial reconciliations
  • Conduct internal payroll audits to validate data accuracy
  • Administer employee benefit programs and maintain records
  • Assist with HR administrative tasks, including onboarding and offboarding processes
  • Maintain and update employee records in internal databases
  • Support ad-hoc payroll and HR projects as required
What We're Looking For:
  • At least 2 years of end-to-end payroll experience.
  • Strong timesheet processing experience.
  • Knowledge of payroll legislation and compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency in Excel for payroll calculations.
  • A keen eye for detail and the ability to work independently.
