Duties
- Managing staff on the machine shop floor
- Effective communication, motivating, planning and delivering on agreed Company objectives
- Able to work independently and contribute as a key member of our management team
- Take responsibility for the manufacture, engineering maintenance, planning and management of all production functions
- Able to interpret and understand engineering drawings/specifications, and manufacturing documentation
- Good understanding of financial performance and KPIs
- A competent understanding of engineering and workshop machinery
Skills
- Understanding of safe working practices
- Strong people and time management skills
- Ideally an engineering apprenticeship
- 3-5 years experience in managing in a machine shop
- Track record of successful hands on Production Management
