An exciting opportunity has arisen for an HR Assistant to work for BAE Systems within their Air Sector at their site in Warton. The role holder will be a part of the HR Partner team and will focus on the following types of activities: - Uses an basic understanding of Company, Air sector, line of business and business unit service needs, and stakeholder management skills to implement change - Supports analysis of industry, market trends and Company people data, to support the identification of short and long-term solutions that improve service performance, demonstrating value add. - Participates in the identification of opportunities for increased efficiency and synergy across the Air Sector through collaboration with colleagues. - Monitors management with critical business processes, supported by tools e.g. Success Factors, and designs communications shared via the lines of business or sector, to enable people activities such as Reward, Leaning and Development The role holder will focus on the following: - Undertakes business support tasks, as well as multifaceted work, including collecting, organising and distributing information. Examples of which are project work, development and High Potential tracking alongside Reward and Learning intervention tracking and uploading documents such as ad hoc payment approvals to the Employee Service Portal. - Organises presentations, prepare reports and collect information to support objectives, such as to support absence reviews - Supports other members of the HR Business Partner team through organisation skills - Supporting and minuting actions at local HR meetings, for example TU No Agenda sessions. - Supports on operational advice on basic people issues whilst tracking, reviewing and providing insights on informal case management. - May operate in a manufacturing, unionised, project-based organisation - Works closely with non-senior Leads/Partners - Other duties of the role may change where project work exists As an HR Assistant you will demonstrate knowledge specific to the Human Resources function and have some awareness of external market standards and trends Skills: - Using your knowledge to deliver immediate value on day-to-day delivery of tasks - Gathering and using information to deliver outcomes and seek opportunities to improve - Develops good relationships with others - Behaves ethically and acts with integrity, raising concerns when you see processes or decisions where people are not being treated fairly. Qualifications: - Human Resources or related subject degree (Preferred) - Foundation member of the CIPD or working towards or equivalent (Preferred).
