An excellent opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Corporate Solicitor to join a Legal 500 firm with offices in and around the Berkshire area. They are a full-service law firm that are seeking a Solicitor with a good understanding of the market to the ability to take on an existing varied caseload whilst also undertaking business development.
Duties will include:
- Advise clients on mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and other corporate transactions.
- Draft, review, and negotiate corporate agreements, including shareholder agreements, joint venture agreements, and corporate governance documents.
- Provide legal counsel on corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and risk management matters.
- Conduct legal due diligence and prepare related documentation.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in corporate law and regulatory developments.
- Collaborate with internal teams on transactions.
- Active involvement within business development
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Corporate fee earning experience essential 1-5 years PQE.
- Have very high level of technical competence
- Marketing and business development skills
- Proven track record of meeting targets
- Have strong interpersonal skills
- Sound legal knowledge within the processes
