Audit Semi-Senior | Surrey Office (Top 15 Firm)

Not keen on commuting to central London? No worries, you don't have to head into the city to thrive in your audit career. Here's an opportunity to join a top 15 audit firm with a national presence, based out of their Surrey office. For the first 6 months, this role will be office-based to support your training and development. After that, you’ll transition to a hybrid model, with 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home.

Key Responsibilities:

In this role, you'll work across Audit, Accounts, and Tax, with a focus on audit. You'll manage a diverse portfolio of clients, including OMBs, solicitors, charities, and schools, gaining exposure to various sectors.

  • Assist audit teams by conducting audit testing and contributing to audit strategy.
  • Prepare unincorporated or company accounts in compliance with Financial Reporting Standards.
  • Draft basic corporation tax computations.
  • Support in drafting recommendations for management after audit fieldwork.
  • Attend client meetings with managers and partners.
  • Ensure audit files meet ISA requirements and internal standards.
  • Process client accounting information efficiently using relevant software.
Ideal Candidate:
  • ACA part-qualified or nearing qualification.
  • Previous experience in a UK-based practice (top 50 firm experience preferred).
  • Experience with clients with turnovers of £5m-£10m.
  • Strong audit and accounts background is essential.
