Our client, a growing and innovative waste management company, is currently recruiting a Technical Sales Manager to join their busy sales team with a focus on the German market. The Technical Sales Manager will be responsible for the growth of new sales by managing and developing a strong pipeline to prospect, qualify and close new opportunities.

(This role is fully remote but you will be required to attend client sites so international travel to Germany will be required)

Responsibilities for the Technical Sales Manager

  • Build long-term relationships with clients, provide technical consultation and advice on how our client's products fit within their processes
  • Assist in developing Germany, Austria, and German-speaking Switzerland as markets, including market research, stakeholder engagement, and tailored marketing strategies
  • Build an in-depth understanding of the recycling process on a technical and commercial level
  • Analyse and understand technical site/process drawings

Key Skills & Experience for the Technical Sales Manager

Essential

  • German as Mother tongue; fluent in English
  • Strong background in Sales (Ideally within Manufacturing)
  • Ability to build trust and long-term relationships with clients by demonstrating deep technical understanding of large-scale industrial processes and listening to customer needs/problems
  • STEM or Engineering background/understanding
  • Full Driving License
  • Strong written and spoken communication skills
