SEN Teaching Assistant

JustTeachers is looking for a 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join a specialist school in Rugby. This full-time position, starting in April 2025, offers a rewarding opportunity to provide personalised support to a student with additional needs, helping them to access learning in a safe and structured environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver tailored 1:1 support, adapting learning activities to meet the students specific needs.
• Foster a positive and encouraging environment to help develop confidence and independence.
• Support the students emotional and social development, promoting positive behaviour and well-being.
• Provide personal care if required, ensuring the students comfort and dignity.

To apply for this role, you must have:

• Experience working with children with additional needs, ideally in a school or support setting.
• A patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach to working with individual students.
• Two professional references from an educational or support-based setting.
