We are looking for a dedicated and experienced SEN teacher to join our team at a specialist school in Sheffield catering for students with a range of needs, including ASC, SEMH, PMLD, SLCN, and more. The successful candidate will have a passion for working with students with complex needs and a commitment to providing high-quality education and support. Responsibilities:Plan and deliver tailored lessons and interventions to meet the individual needs of students with ASC, SEMH, PMLD, SLCN, and other complex needs Create a nurturing and inclusive learning environment that promotes student engagement and progress Work closely with support staff, therapists, and external professionals to develop and implement personalised learning plans Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular feedback to parents and carers Implement and adapt strategies to support students with a range of needs, including sensory processing difficulties, communication challenges, and behavioural issues

Requirements:Qualified teacher status (QTS) with experience working in a special school setting Specialism in working with students with ASC, SEMH, PMLD, SLCN, or other complex needs Knowledge of evidence-based practices and interventions for supporting students with complex needs Strong teamwork and collaboration skills Commitment to ongoing professional development and reflective practice This is a full-time position starting in September, with a competitive daily rate of £153 - £220 based on experience.
