An experienced IT Support Technician with ideally 2-3 years of experience is needed to join the team at this leading IT support provider to schools, colleges, and businesses based in Sidcup on a full-time basis.

This is a field-based role; hence, a valid UK driving licence and your own car are essential. Due to client growth we are looking for engineers based in Kent, Sussex and Surrey.

Required Skills:

  • Experience with VMWare and Hyper-V environments
  • Experience with Windows Server Operating Systems
  • Knowledge of networking elements TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLAN
  • Knowledge of Active Directory and Group Policy
  • Experience in supporting desktops, laptops and imaging of these devices.
  • Experience with AV Equipment
  • Good backup practice 
  • Demonstrate strong communication skills and good working knowledge of IT
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills

Desirable Skills:

  • Unifi/Aruba/Meraki Wireless Solutions
  • MDM (Meraki, Jamf, Lightspeed, Apple Configurator)
  • Google Workspace Administration
  • Microsoft 365 Administration (Azure/Intune)
  • AV Installation experience
  • 3CX Administration

Required Experience:

  • Ideally, 2-3 years of work IT experience, preferably in an Education environment
  • Experience in supporting desktops, laptops and imaging of these devices.
  • Experience with AV Equipment
