Sous Chef Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in managing kitchen operations across two distinct dining settings,
  • Engage in food preparation, stock control, and ensuring high standards of cleanliness
  • Contribute to menu creation and seasonal adjustments in collaboration with the culinary team
  • Interact with an in-house Kitchen Gardener to incorporate fresh, garden-sourced ingredients

Sous Chef Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Professional experience in a similar role within a luxury or fine dining setting
  • Passionate about the culinary arts with a drive to advance in the profession
  • Formal culinary qualifications, such as an apprenticeship or NVQ in Professional Cookery, are advantageous but not essential
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team to deliver exceptional culinary experiences
