Our client based in Spalding is looking for an Nights Stock Controller to join their growing team to start ASAP!

We are currently recruiting for Stock Controller for one of our clients based in Spalding.

Job Purpose:

The Warehouse Stock Controller is responsible for managing and maintaining accurate stock levels within the warehouse to ensure efficient operations. This role involves tracking inventory movements, conducting regular stock checks, investigating discrepancies, and working closely with warehouse and logistics teams to optimize stock flow.

As an Stock Controller, you will be responsible for:

  • Maintain accurate stock records and ensure all inventory transactions are properly documented
  • Conduct regular stock checks, cycle counts, and full stock audits to identify discrepancies.
  • Monitor stock levels to ensure sufficient supply and prevent shortages or overstocking.
  • Coordinate with warehouse staff, suppliers, and logistics teams to ensure smooth stock movement.
  • Investigate and resolve any stock discrepancies, reporting issues to management as necessary
  • Use inventory management software to update and track stock movements.
  • Ensure that stock is stored efficiently and in compliance with health and safety regulations.

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Experience in stock control, warehouse operations, or a similar role.
  • Good level of written and spoken English;
  • Strong attention to detail;
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.Strong attention to detail;
  • Ability to work competently and accurately under pressure;

Pay rates:

  • £13.45 p/h

Shift: 4 on 4 off rota 18:00 to 06:00 ( for the first few weeks whilst training would likely be Monday to Thursday)

Working hours: 18:00 - 06:00
