Psychology Graduate - September - Full time

Prospero Teaching are looking for passionate and ambitious Psychology Graduates with a passion for supporting students with SEMH needs in an alternative provision near Macclesfield. The students will be aged 7 - 18 and it is essential that you have experience supporting children or young people with SEMH needs.

Working with and providing support to children with SEN (Special Educational Needs)Experience of supporting pupils with SEMH or ASD needsThe willingness to provide an environment in which pupils can reach their full potentialThe ability to build rapports with the children, supporting their social and behavioural needs, and acting as a mentor

Role Requirements:

Psychology (BA Hons) degreeEnhanced DBS (clean and relevant) Can be obtained through Prospero TeachingSafeguarding certificate, prevent awareness, FGM - essentialBehaviour management training - desirableA committed and enthusiastic attitude to workExcellent communication skills and the ability to form new relationships

Desirable:

Previous experience working with young peopleGood knowledge of SEMH and/or ASD needs
