- Job Title/Location: Customer Service Specialist, Surrey & WFH

- Office/WFH: 2 days office + 3 days WFH after initial office-based training period

- Role Snapshot: Responding to queries from customers regarding their pensions. An intake role into the business from which people progress within this function or transfer into other areas of the company.

The Company/Team: For years, this company has built a great reputation for developing people within Financial Services. The Customer Service Teams proactively resolve incoming telephone, letter and email queries from Financial Advisers and direct customers. This is not a sales-based call centre role, the focus is purely query resolution and on providing the best customer service possible.
The Role: The first 12-weeks in this Customer Service Specialist role will focus on your training, thereafter, your main responsibilities will include:
- Providing first-line support to customers & Financial Advisors via phone, email/correspondence
- Handle queries on pension products, guiding customers on tools & resources to empower self-service
- Resolve issues efficiently, ensuring all interactions are handled in a timely manner with a quality of response that continually exceeds the customers' expectations - escalating potential risks or vulnerable customer situations when needed
Skills / Experience Required: For these Customer Service Specialist roles, you should have office-based customer service experience, ideally within a call centre setting or generally within Financial Services, Banking or Insurance. You should be confident & enthusiastic on the phone and the ability to multi-task is paramount. Our client is really keen on people who WANT TO LEARN.
