Temporary Part-Time Scheme Manager (Retirement Living)

Part-Time, 25 hours per week
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Scheme Manager to manage two retirement living schemes located in Swindon and Chipping Norton. This role will involve overseeing the day-to-day running of the sites, ensuring residents feel safe, supported, and comfortable within their homes. The ideal candidate will be proactive, approachable, and well-organised, with experience in retirement living or a similar environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide daily support to residents, including welfare checks, managing requests, and responding to emergencies.
- Ensure buildings comply with health and safety regulations, including fire safety procedures.
- Liaise with contractors for repairs and maintenance work, keeping records and following up on outstanding issues.
- Foster a friendly and welcoming environment, organizing social activities and supporting resident interaction.
- Maintain accurate records of resident details, incidents, and maintenance schedules. Report updates to senior management.
- Previous experience in property management, social housing, or retirement living schemes.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a compassionate and patient approach toward elderly residents.
- Strong time-management and administrative skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Ability to travel between sites in Swindon and Chipping Norton is essential.
- A valid EnhancedDBS check
