Welder Fabricator

DC Personnel are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our growing client in LE7.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and have experience in assembling and welding particularly stainless & aluminum. The successful applicant will work with both power and hand tools, demonstrating proficiency in MIG & TIG welding and metal fabrication.

Full time Permanent
Monday-Friday
6am till 2pm
14-17 per hour DOE

Duties

Assemble components according to specifications and engineering drawings.
Perform welding tasks using MIG & TIG welding techniques to join metal parts effectively.
Fabricate metal structures and components, ensuring precision and adherence to safety standards.
Utilise various power tools and hand tools for cutting, shaping, and finishing metal products.
Conduct inspections of finished products to ensure quality control and compliance with specifications.
Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.
Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance product quality.

Experience

Proven experience in welding and fabrication roles is essential.
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read technical drawings and schematics.
Proficiency in using power tools, hand tools, and welding equipment safely and effectively.
Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks.
Experience working with both stainless and aluminum is preferred
Experience with both TIG & MIG work is advantageous but not mandatory.
A commitment to safety practices within the workplace is required.
