My client, with well-established roots in Thame, is looking for a friendly Service Office Administrator to join their service team. In this new role, you'll handle tasks like preparing invoices, picking and packing parts, booking service visits, generating quotes, answering calls, and other admin duties. We are seeking an energetic individual who can take initiative and is computer savvy, with a basic understanding of MS Office and attention to detail. Familiarity with Sage is advantageous. With training, you will also begin to answer technical queries, so my client is looking for someone who has a technical background, either through work experience or education.
Working hours are 8.30am-5.00pm Mon to Thursday and 8.30am-3.30pm on Friday.
Salary - Circa £25,000, depending on experience
Role:
- General administration duties
- Preparing service and breakdown invoices
- Packing of spares for engineers
- Processing service reports (Scanning/pdf creation)
- Booking of prearranged service visits
- Booking of breakdown jobs
- Generating quotes for repairs and spares
- Creating and issuing service agreements to customers
- Answering enquiry calls and directing accordingly
- Cover may be required for annual leave/ absence of other office administrators.
Potential Growth:
Growth towards answering basic technical enquires, using fault flow charts and documents
Requirements:
- Computer literate
- Previous use of Sage accounting software advantageous
- Able to work on own initiative
- A technical understanding (i.e. College qualification, hands on skill)
