Marks Sattin is excited to present a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Accounts Coordinator to join a dynamic and rapidly growing company. This role is ideal for an experienced Accounts Coordinator with over 5 years of experience, particularly in accounts payable (AP), and a strong background in managing accounts for multiple subsidiaries within a group structure.

Role Overview:

The successful candidate will be responsible for the comprehensive management of accounts for three companies, with the expectation that this number will increase as the company continues to grow. The role requires proficiency in using Xero for various accounting tasks and a keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accounts Inbox Management: Efficiently manage the accounts inbox, ensuring all queries and communications are addressed promptly.
  • Supplier Statements: Review and process monthly statements received from suppliers, ensuring accuracy and timely resolution of discrepancies.
  • Payment Runs: Conduct regular payment runs, ensuring all payments are processed accurately and on time.
  • VAT Returns: Prepare and submit VAT returns, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Invoice Processing: Process invoices using Xero, ensuring all entries are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Remittance Slips: Prepare and issue remittance slips to suppliers, ensuring clear communication of payment details.
  • Payment Allocations: Allocate payments accurately within Xero, ensuring all transactions are correctly recorded.
  • Bank Reconciliations: Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure all transactions are accounted for and discrepancies are resolved.
  • Expense and Invoice Management: Manage expenses and invoices, ensuring all entries are accurate and compliant with company policies.
  • Weekly Reconciliations: Conduct weekly reconciliations of accounts, providing detailed reports to the finance team.
  • Monthly Reconciliation Tasks: Ensure the timely completion of monthly reconciliation tasks, maintaining accurate financial records.
