Our client is a truly market leading brand with multiple sites in the UK are looking for a Senior Finance Analyst to join their site based in Gaydon, Warwickshire

We are looking for a Senior Finance Analyst to join the bustling finance department - the suitable candidate will already have strong experience within accountancy at a Business Partnering level within a large organisation- ideally qualified ACCA, CIMA, ACA or finalist

Senior stakeholder management skills and business partnering experience are a MUST for this role, you will also need to come from some kind of manufacturing background to be considered.

Role Purpose:

This role requires a self-starter, highly dynamic individual who will drive performance throughout the product Platform, providing the appropriate financial guidance, control and reporting. The span of this role encompasses everything from, design, engineering, launch and manufacturing readiness for all products.

The successful candidate will be fully embedded in the business and will require high level partnering skills with counterparts in Product Planning, Programme Management, Design & R&D as well as the ability to create productive working relationships with colleagues across Finance, Sales & Marketing, Procurement and Manufacturing.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Lead on key material and inventory product cost targets, supporting effective communication and achievement of these targets alongside cross-departmental interfaces.
  • Guide product Planning activities to deliver the Business Plan.
  • Support project teams in achieving and improving upon Budget and Business Plan targets.
  • Project Funding control including Change Request Approvals and Co-ordination, alongside review and approval of all project spend requests at multiple million £ level
  • Preparation and review of monthly management information across product projects [Resource, Profitability, CAPEX, etc.]
  • Capital and expense project approval, budgeting and forecasting.
  • Lead the preparation and presentation of financials to senior management and external stakeholders as appropriate
  • Delegated responsibility for Senior Finance Manager when required.
  • Key lead on scenario and profitability modelling to ensure acceptable company returns are being delivered.
  • Chair, lead and coordinate cross-functional teams to resolve key financial risks or issues.
  • Challenge operating interfaces to help achieve the most cost-efficient results.

Qualification & Experience:

  • Candidates should have a proven track record within a manufacturing environment with excellent forecasting, reporting and business partnering skills - this will need to be demonstrated at first stage interview
  • Previous experience within a financial Product Creation function would be advantageous
  • Educated to degree level (2:1 minimum)
  • CIMA/ACCA qualified or passed finalist
