We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join one of clients in Welwyn Garden City. You will be comfortable using Excel and working with numbers. You will be using Word and Powerpoint and support the Directors with presentations, arranging meetings, to dealing with adhoc duties. This will be a varied role, where you will take calls from clients and field them to the correct people.

Yours hours will be 9 to 5.30, with 24 days holiday plus 8 bank holidays. You will have free car parking, tea and coffee. There will also be invites to attend functions, with the next one being in London for a Christmas meal and a bonus scheme.

Some of your day to day duties include.

Manage incoming calls and respond to inquiries with professionalism and courtesy.

  • Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently.
  • Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and other documentation as required.
  • Organise and maintain office files, both electronic and paper-based, for easy retrieval.
  • Support the team with clerical duties such as photocopying, scanning, and filing documents.
  • Utilise Microsoft Office applications to create spreadsheets, documents, and presentations.
  • Coordinate meetings by scheduling appointments.

Requirements

  • Proven background as an Administrative Assistant or in a similar role is preferred.
  • Strong communicator
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong decision-making capabilities.
