Venture Recruitment Partners are delighted to be working with a Property business, based in Wimborne, who are seeking an Assistant Management Accountant on a 12-month FTC basis.Hybrid working - once a week in the officeSalary £32-36,000 p/a + benefitsKey Responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the team in delivering monthly management accounts, periodic forecasting and budgeting
  • Being responsible for journal preparation, balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis
  • Working closely with colleagues both inside and outside of finance
  • Getting involved in ad-hoc projects and assist in the preparation of statutory accounts.
Key Skills/Experience
  • You need to be educated to A-Level standard and ideally be studying, or a desire to study, towards a recognised professional accounting qualification.
  • You will have experience of working in a finance team and be a proficient user of the Microsoft Office suite.
  • You’ll need to be an effective communicator, establishing and building relationships across the business to enable collaborative working where applicable.
  • You’ll be working in a fast-paced environment, so you’ll need to be able to juggle conflicting priorities and juggle a demanding workload whilst retaining a good eye for detail.
