School Admin Assistant - Dibden / New Forest area - ASAP start!Academics are looking for a School Admin Assistant to support a busy school office on the outskirts on Southampton in the Dibden/New Forest area. The school caters for secondary aged pupils with social, emotional and mental health needs.

This is a term-time, 10 week minimum contract starting ASAP. You are required to work Monday - Friday from 8am - 4pm on an hourly rate of £12.83.

You will be based in reception where you will be responsible for meeting and greeting pupils, parents and visitors. The job requires both efficiency and well-developed personal and administrative skills. You will need to be able to work at a fast pace, be pro-active and use your own initiative. The suitable School Admin Assistant will ideally have experience of working in a school office, although not essential.

As a School Admin Assistant you must:Work punctually and reliablyPossess the ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, with a wide range of peoplePossess the ability to organise own time to deal with set tasks effectivelyMaintain positive relationships with other staff whilst working in a busy environmentHave the ability to use current versions of Microsoft Office applications competently (Word, Excel, Outlook)Have the ability to type quickly and accuratelyHave the ability to maintain efficient systems for the storage and easy retrieval of information (paper and computer-based)Make sure that appropriate levels of confidentiality are maintainedAbility to work collaboratively with the wider staff group across the sitesIf you are an experienced School Admin Assistant and able to commute to Dibden / New Forest area for work, please apply!
